ABOUT HENRY

There are many abstracted non-tangible hard-to-see ‘places’, Many have been exaggerated through technologies. such as online engagements, financial mechanisms, AI, and digital money. It can be hard to articulate such fuzz and change. It all seems intangled. I hope to visualize some of these hypernormalist effects and to find a look through.

I use online 3d modeling programs to build spaces, the symbol, and the natural world. I paint them to give them a human touch again. There are sometimes technical, poetic and even useful.  

On canvas, these worlds, regions, and abstract places collide. I use layers of dripped paint, and literal or optical cuts on the canvas to create these spaces where these characters engage with each other.
