 My work is curious about memory. Specifically, how it is changing in the digital age. The recording of the recording. We are getting more and more detached from the natural world. We swim in Chemical swimming pools and walk on concrete ground, rearly we come in contact with things not made by human hands. I make cuts and try and discover the layer of this changing world. The digital, past, and present all seems intertwined on top of each other. like some hypernormal landscape.

I use online 3d modeling programs to build spaces, here symbols are carved and oen shadows. I paint the digital to give them a human touch again. There are sometimes technical, poetic and even useful.  

I use light, layers of dripped paint, literal or optical cuts on the canvas to create these spaces where these characters engage with each other showing the tension of these man made spaces.
